I am an assistant professor of finance at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to joining UMASS Boston, I earned my PhD in finance from the University of Alabama. Before that, I worked as a senior Investment Research Analyst and passed 3 levels of the CFA examination.

My research focuses on financial disclosures, their asset pricing implications, and economics of voluntary disclosures. I use textual analysis and machine learning together with conventional finance research tools in my research.
